LiDa Daidaihua Review
Contamined Slimming Product From China
Some of the slimming products from China have been found to include the banned drug sibutramine. This drug has a history of adverse side effects. If you are using any of these slimming formulations, it is better to reconsider your decision.
Two weight loss products from China have been in the news in recent years. These products are “Lida Daidaihua Slimming Capsules” and "Super Fat Burning" pills. The reason is not their popularity. It has been found out that these products contain sibutramine which is a prescription drug and should be used only under the supervision of a medical doctor.
In the medical world this drug, sibutramine is used to control obesity. The drug has a history of many side effects. Heart related side effects are associated with this drug. In one research published in the journal of Canadian Medical Association it has been found that tachycardia, hypertension and arrhythmia have significant association with the side effects of this drug.
The Side Effects
Some of the symptoms associated with the use of these two slimming drugs are similar to symptoms found in allergic rhinitis. They are manifested as a collection of symptoms rather than a single symptom. Some of the symptoms include:
- Cough
- Headache
- Itching mouth, nose, throat, eyes or any other area
- Running nose
- Congestion in the nose
- Sore throat
A doctor will be able to sort out, whether symptoms results from regular allergy or prolonged use of these slimming formulations, for which certain skin or blood tests may be ordered to find out the real cause of the symptoms.
The best treatment for most of the allergic reactions is to avoid the cause of the allergy. In this case if the slimming drugs are the cause of the allergy then the doctor may suggest that the pills be discontinued. These symptoms, if not treated at the outset may complicate health matters later.
It's Rejected Everywhere Now
The Government of Italy was first to remove the drug sibutramine from the market. The Italian Government was forced to take this drastic step after more than 50 adverse reactions and two deaths were reported. In the USA, the FDA received more than 400 reports of reactions from sibutramine. These reports were recorded between 1998 and 2001 and included close to 30 deaths. After these reports the drug sibutramine was banned in US.
After the discovery of this banned drug in many parts of the world, governmental health agencies in the different countries have issued health advisories to people warning them of the fatal consequences of certain drugs.
You can imagine for yourself the dire consequences of continued use of these seemingly harmless formulations. Weight loss certainly does not justify the danger these drugs pose to one’s health.
